Yellow ‘Emblem’ roses, star of bethlehem, phalaenopsis orchids and succulents pair beautifully with more unique and delicate additions like dusty miller, lycopodium foliage, silver brunia, and craspedia. Overall, a true organic effect was created for Cindy. On point with trends, Cindy loved burlap, succulents, mosses, branches, jute, barked wire….pretty much anything natural. Stunning flowers were created for a very special customer in our store recently. Sheryl’s grand daughter  got married! With stunning flowers such as phalaenopsis orchids, lilies, hydrangea, freesia, roses and so much more…it was really a luscious effect!  Dramatic tones of ruby, burgundy, russett, and scarlet filled the reception.

My oh my, the last few weeks, we have had some weddings. Aside from heading to San Francisco…There have been tons of weddings. We do only take 3 a weekend. We are not the flower shop that wants more more more. We take pride in our work and provide our customers with quality, attention to detail and care. That being said, there are lots to show…Enjoy!

A beautiful day in June started off right for Amanda and Dave’s organically creative wedding. From classic touches like gardenias, old fashioned roses and sweetpeas, to less conventional selections like succulents, string of pearls, scabiosa pods and poppy pods, this wedding was fabulously fun to create!

Bridesmaid’s carried sweet nosegays of freesia, roses, mokara orchids, billy balls, succulents, lamb’s ear and much much more. The vibrant shades of yellow and contrasting grays made for a sophisticated yet casual feel perfect for the afternoon affair.

Amanda’s toss bouquet consisted of all things textural in a display of organic wonder.

Her boutonnieres were anything but ordinary. Each different, they displayed many of the individual elements of the wedding in “small bites”

This custom cake was created by Sweet Cakes by Melissa – Gresham, OR. We adorned the cake with all of the wonderful touches of the wedding. Adding manzanita branches to the look really added a bold and beautiful texture to the overall look.

This past week, we had the opportunity to create a 3 1/2 foot Ford logo for Dick Dickerson, owner of Wesley Ford in Camas. These challenges always allow us to spread our creative wings further, and this project was no exception! With over 200 mums, 50 mini carns, some sculpting sheets of foam and dixon pins, plus some sweat and fretting, and 5 heads all put together, we came up with this brilliant life like emblem celebrating his life.
