Camas Meadows – Wedding Tasting

These pieces were created for the wedding tasting at Camas Meadows Golf Club this past weekend. With creative freedom, we create stunning flowers for weddings. Here are two examples of organic design that we can create for brides that are following that trend. We create all sorts of wedding flowers, some traditional, some more flashy…some more organic looking. As well-rounded floral professionals, we can customize your flowers to fit your personality. Give us a call if you or someone special in your life is tying the knot. We would love to chat more with you! ( We owe a very special thank you to Carla at Carla Foth Christian Photography for the great shots!)

A celebration of Loretta’s life…

This past Monday, Scott’s mom passed away. As we do so many times, we offered up beautiful flowers with unique touches that related to her life.  She loved her chickens and sold eggs to many people in her life.

Julie created a beautiful casket piece of purples and yellows and vibrant pinks. Mollie built a chicken coop to sit in the center of it.

Accompanying easel sprays were created with tomatoes and garden flowers and foliage relating to her love of gardening.

Soft lavender ‘Ocean Song’ roses, crisp white tulips, fragrant wood hyacinth, miniature calla lilies, lily of the valley and soft fuzzy lambs ear create this romantic and luscious look for Kristen. Congratulations!

Miss Maria!

This magnificent bouquet was created for one of our favorite brides of this season. She loved everything natural and unique as much as we do! Her lavish bouquet consisted of lime cymbidium orchids, azure toned veronica, peacock feathers, scaiosa pods, transluscent money plant, knife-blade acacia and a very unique bouquet handle…a birch chunk! Congratulations Jack and Maria…You make a darling couple!

Memorializing a Golfer

This last week was anything but quiet at Flowers Washougal! We had several projects on the burner, one of which was a special memorial for a local man, Merrill Alexander. We had the gracious opportunity to create flowers in a beautiful tablescape for his celebration of life.
He was a golfer. He played often, and well. That became the focus of our design. It’s what he was all about. It seemed fitting to his son and family. We created a beautiful colorful collection of flowers incorporating all of his favorite golfing things…Shoes, clubs, his bag, his plaque of family competitions had…It really reflected a wonderful memory of his life.

Pather Pride!

This last Saturday, Washougal High School seniors graduated in style. As part of the celebration we created the two wonderful windwhirls of flowers in orange and black…their school colors! We love doing fabulous designs for the highschool. It’s our way of supporting our local community!

With an industrial flair, we created these suspended designs with orchids, naranga roses, anthurium and peonies…all incorporating items found at the hardware store!

Congratulations Class of 2009! You did it! Here’s a list of the top ten students graduating this year! Congrats everyone!
