Sympathy flowers beyond…at Flowers Washougal

Sympathy flowers can create a calm and relaxing mood for family as they are greiving. This past week, we were given the opportunity to create flowers for a stunningly simple funeral held in Brush Prairie. With roses, orchids, tulips, snowball viburnum, calla lilies, and maiden hair fern, these flowers were quite dramatic.

Memorializing a musician…

People probably say it all the time…”What will they think of next?” We have created everything from a smiley face, to a Ford logo, a barber pole and a baseball. Truly up for any challenge…when you call, don’t be surprised when you ask for a giraffe, and our first response is…you bet how big? Flowers Washougal…we offer every ordinary thing a flowershop should but our passion is in the unexpectable and extraordinary.

Memorializing a Barber…

This tribute was ordered by a family for a well-known barber in our area. We were not surprised, when they called and ordered a Barber Pole made out of flowers. You see, that is our specialty. We like doing floral sculptures! We have created logos out of flowers, smiley faces, pather paws, why not a Barber Pole? Erik headed to the hardware store. A little of this, some of that, a few flowers….and LED Light for the top…Viola!

A celebration of Loretta’s life…

This past Monday, Scott’s mom passed away. As we do so many times, we offered up beautiful flowers with unique touches that related to her life.  She loved her chickens and sold eggs to many people in her life.

Julie created a beautiful casket piece of purples and yellows and vibrant pinks. Mollie built a chicken coop to sit in the center of it.

Accompanying easel sprays were created with tomatoes and garden flowers and foliage relating to her love of gardening.

This design, although not one of Erik's personal favorites, was part of the tested which allowed judges to see if you could duplicate a design. Each contestant was given a photo in which they had to duplicate everything about the design.
