Congratulations Amanda and Dave!
A beautiful day in June started off right for Amanda and Dave’s organically creative wedding. From classic touches like gardenias, old fashioned roses and sweetpeas, to less conventional selections like succulents, string of pearls, scabiosa pods and poppy pods, this wedding was fabulously fun to create!
Bridesmaid’s carried sweet nosegays of freesia, roses, mokara orchids, billy balls, succulents, lamb’s ear and much much more. The vibrant shades of yellow and contrasting grays made for a sophisticated yet casual feel perfect for the afternoon affair.
Amanda’s toss bouquet consisted of all things textural in a display of organic wonder.
Her boutonnieres were anything but ordinary. Each different, they displayed many of the individual elements of the wedding in “small bites”
This custom cake was created by Sweet Cakes by Melissa – Gresham, OR. We adorned the cake with all of the wonderful touches of the wedding. Adding manzanita branches to the look really added a bold and beautiful texture to the overall look.

Go forth and be married…Vivian!

Vivian got married 7000 feet about Timberline in the rustic Silcox Hut a weekend or so ago. Being she is a park ranger herself, it seemed the perfect place for her future husband and her to make their love and vows complete. Her choice of flowers also seemed perfect, from mosses, branches, rabbit foot ferns, succulents and fern curls, to soft romatic flowers like garden roses, tulips and ranunculas, this look evoked both of their personalities perfectly! Textural wonderment was created by Julie…a lover of anything native and Northwest! Truly Breathtaking!
Miss Maria!
This magnificent bouquet was created for one of our favorite brides of this season. She loved everything natural and unique as much as we do! Her lavish bouquet consisted of lime cymbidium orchids, azure toned veronica, peacock feathers, scaiosa pods, transluscent money plant, knife-blade acacia and a very unique bouquet handle…a birch chunk! Congratulations Jack and Maria…You make a darling couple!

Kathryn is a pearl!
This past week, we also created flowers for a downtown bride. Kathryn decided to get married at the Armory in the Pearl District in Portland, a industrial chic venue perfect for a young bride. Her flowers were reflective of that chic style with anthurium, roses, calla lilies, cymbidum orchids and fern curls.

This young bride decided to have us create a whimsical toss bouquet for her reception of dollar bills and lottery tickets since most of her party was “grown-up and married off already”…isn’t that a fun way to honor your guests? I hope nobody lost an eye trying to catch that bouquet!
Karla’s Cascade of Dreams
It’s been a whirlwind of wedding activity this last couple weeks! One of our weddings was a casual simple one for Karla. Although her bouquet was beautifully elaborate! With starfighter lilies, fuschia roses, freesia aspidistra foliage and lily grass, this cascading bouquet is full and wonderful! Erik has never created such a large and fragrant bouquet for a bride! She loved it! SUCCESS!
Cheers to Cindy!
Last week, Julie created a stunning look for Cindy, a beautiful bride that chose the most sensational vibrant summer colors. Cindy left the details to us in creating a beautiful late summer wedding of her dreams. Many of the flowers were grown by the groom’s mother which made the wedding ever more special. Sunflowers, dahlias, lilies, crocosmia, roses, callas, berries, and grasses to name a few of the great flowers utilized!
Here a melange of summer flowers nestled into a red tin container, with a heart carved out in the face of a sunflowers. A whimsical detail that fit Cindy’s personality perfectly!
Cindy’s bouquet of everything wonderful included gloriosa lilies, dahlias, berries, sunflowers, brown gerbera daisies, and rudbeckia pods. STUNNING!
Even the cake had a casual wonderful look about it with petals strewn about the table.
