Tying the Together + Flowers
We meet with so many bride’s in the spring, that we are almost nonchalant about it. Summer is a distant concept. Our weddings are “down-the-road.” Certainly, we understand and value each and every bride that entrusts us with her flowers to complete the day that has taken her hours upon hours of planning and endless details. We have, as well, spent hours upon hours working with our growers and wholesalers, purchased ribbon in just the right shade of purple, babied roses and other flowers to the perfect stage, and communicated with our bride’s almost more than our own family members. But, it’s all worth it.
We finally know, after all the sweat and stress of making sure everything is just right, that we have done our job. We finally understand just how important our role is when we see our bride’s faces on their special day. Many, many times, we see our brides begin to tear up, give us a gigantic hug, and just plan gloat about “my florist” to all of their family and wedding party. We value each and every bride that comes to us, trusts us and gives us a little creative freedom to show them what we can do. Here are a few of our special bride’s bouquets from the past month. Enjoy!
Weddings, weddings, weddings…
My oh my, the last few weeks, we have had some weddings. Aside from heading to San Francisco…There have been tons of weddings. We do only take 3 a weekend. We are not the flower shop that wants more more more. We take pride in our work and provide our customers with quality, attention to detail and care. That being said, there are lots to show…Enjoy!
Beautiful flowers created for a Skamania Lodge Bride
This stunning bouquet was created for a bride at Skamania Lodge last weekend. Julie created it with the use of fragrant lilacs, late season snowball viburnum, luscious maiden hair fern, ‘Helga Piaget’ garden roses, wood hyacinth, grasses, and fern curls. This casual wonderful style fit the bride’s personality perfectly.
Camas Meadows – Wedding Tasting
These pieces were created for the wedding tasting at Camas Meadows Golf Club this past weekend. With creative freedom, we create stunning flowers for weddings. Here are two examples of organic design that we can create for brides that are following that trend. We create all sorts of wedding flowers, some traditional, some more flashy…some more organic looking. As well-rounded floral professionals, we can customize your flowers to fit your personality. Give us a call if you or someone special in your life is tying the knot. We would love to chat more with you! ( We owe a very special thank you to Carla at Carla Foth Christian Photography for the great shots!)
Autumn Wedding Palettes
This time of year, generally brides switch into autumnal colors….radiant with golden yellows. burnt oranges, and russet. This year the early autumn weddings have been more about muted tones of coral, peach, soft green, and silver.
More than that. it’s all about texture, texture, texture. Pictured below is Grace’s bouquet. It is filled with an abundance of interesting texture, from the spikey Brovelia to smooth brown fern curls, ruffled ‘Peach Peony’ roses from Peterkort Roses to fragrance freesia and simple calla lilies. All these different textures come together to create a soft romantic northwest look. To top it off, a birch pole creates the handle of the bridal bouquet. Stunning don’t you think?
Kristin’s bouquet below creates a different story. A Juxtaposition of materials, classics meet woodland in a wildly wonderful way. Soft ‘Vendela’ roses from Peterkort Roses are paired with freesia, sweetpeas and hydrangea; all the classics. Soft dusty miller, poppy pods, and japanese anemone pods; the woodland bits.
A close up of Erin’s bouquet reveals all kinds of wonderful things. Here in a more casual garden feel for early autumn, roses are featured. ‘Peach Peony’ ‘Talea’ and ‘Alexandra’ roses come together with ‘Autumn Joy’ sedum, dried poppy pods, scabiosa pods and ‘Rabbit Foot’ ferns. Almost like you just headed out in a beautiful garden and gathered all your favorites together. Stunning yet perfectly casual for an afternoon wedding.

Congrats to Ashley!
This past weekend we had 3 weddings, one of which was held at Camas Meadows. Ashley got married…and the weather was perfect! Beautiful flowers in shades of white and blue were created for her special day. Hydrangeas, calla lilies, dahlias, stephanotis, sweet peas, and eryngium were combined together in her beautiful delicate bouquet.
Simple Arrangements dressed up the gazebo in the ceremony area

To carry the theme of simplicity, the centerpieces were alternating tall and short square vases filled with calla lilies and hydrangeas
A beautiful cake was created by Meghan of Cakes by Design. We added coordinating flowers to dress it up!
Best Of Luck Dustin and Kristin!
This past weekend, we had 3 more weddings. Dustin and Kristin tied the knot in the Rhodedendron Garden in Portland. She chose beautiful flowers in deep shades of purple with accents of lime green. Turquiose ribbon offset the colors and balanced the addition of peacock feathers!
Blooming oregano, scabiosa, hypericum, seeded eucalyptus and feathers add contrast and whimsy to the completed bouquet!
Congratulations Michelle and Taylor!
Here’s a couple more wedding bouquets from this weekend’s fun…beautiful, romantic, and overstuffed seemed to be the theme.
Beautiful old fashioned ‘Yves Piaget’ Roses, ‘Maria Theresia’ Roses, Dahlias, Calla lilies and berries were combined in this stunning bouquet created by Julie for Miss Taylor!

Hailee Gets Married!
Traditional flowers such as casablanca lilies, soft ‘sweet avalanche’ roses, freesia, sweetpeas, hydrangeas and dahlias come together in this fragrant bouquet created for Hailee. It’s a wonderfully classic look for this summer bride
The stems of her bouquet were adorned with beaded pearls and soft pink bullion as a romantic surprise for her.
Her headtable was created as a tablescape that stretches down her table and accomodates perfect places to set their bouquets for the partying yet to begin.
